outdoor space with natural diversity, giant trees, zen and meditation spaces
The villa stands directly beside the waterways of Marina da Gama and has its own garden, private jetty and access to kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard and an indian canoe. Cape clawless otter, African fish eagle, Pied kingfisher, Grey heron, Great white pelican, Egyptian goose, Red-knobbed coot, Yellow-billed duck, White-breasted cormorant, Water mongoose, squirells and weevers are among a few you can spot in the garden.

There is also a treehouse where you can spend some time watching hundreds of birds on our magnificient tree, Eva the eucalyptus. She is the grace of this land and another universe - multilayered and full of prana.

There is a picnic mattress, a tree house, swings, a tree bed and a private beach in the garden for your relaxation and time with nature.

WHO IS IT FOR?
international travellers, digital nomads, retreat holders, dancers, artists and eco-worriors
The co-living is particularly suited to remote workers, facilitators, artists, travellers and practitioners who value an active lifestyle, ecological awareness and sincere human connection. Groups are intentionally kept small, allowing trust and familiarity to develop naturally without creating the feeling of a crowded retreat centre.

Greenhouse is guided by care for the Earth and respect for shared space. Residents are asked to use water and electricity mindfully, separate waste, reduce single-use plastics and contribute to keeping communal areas clean and welcoming. The house encourages ethically sourced food and conscious choices that reduce harm to animals and the environment.

Your host, Nadia Ring, has a background in psychology and holds a master’s degree in the Study of Religions from the University of Cape Town. She is an ecstatic dance DJ, clay artist, former professional tour guide and founder of Greenhouse NPO. Her knowledge of Cape Town, its landscapes, hiking routes, cultural life and lesser-known places adds a personal local dimension to the experience.

EcoVilla is not a conventional hotel and does not offer anonymous tourism. It is a home for people who enjoy diversity, learning from each other, multiculturalism, appreciate beauty and nature, respect communal agreements and are willing to contribute something of themselves. Guests may bring a practice, a meal, a story, a skill, a workshop or simply their attentive presence.

It is a place to live slowly but fully: to work with focus, move the body, spend time on the water, encounter Cape Town through local knowledge, visit best places of the Peninsula, and form genuine connections with people. Here we practice ethics of indigenous people: shared leadership, mutual support, and respect for a peaceful environment you walked in.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
~ Margaret Mead

GUEST REVIEWS
Three months at Nadia's EcoVilla—and it was one of the best periods of my Cape Town life.

The house is alive. So many interesting people have passed through it that even the air in the rooms seemed filled with someone's stories. Here you could calmly work in the mornings, build your own routine, and at the same time never feel lonely: the environment itself would draw you into activities, events, and conversations until late at night. We called it a "hippie commune." In a good way.

Several of the best parties of the Russian community during the season happened here. Quiet and not-so-quiet parties, jam sessions with Nadia's drums, yoga in the open space, music, dancing. It's not just accommodation—it's a vibe that the host creates.

A special mention goes to the daybed under the eucalyptus tree. I spent a lot of time there—with the view, the silence, and my thoughts. Some places simply restore you. This is one of them.

The Marina da Gama neighbourhood is very safe—I once left an expensive bicycle outside overnight and found it in exactly the same place the next morning. For Cape Town, that says a lot. The location is ideal: Muizenberg is nearby, cycling routes go in every direction, and it's easy to get anywhere. Nadia even allowed me to charge my electric car from the house socket—a small thing, but very convenient.

This house gave me friendships that have already become lasting. While writing this review, I felt warm and a little sad. A good sign. And a wonderful villa!

Nadyusha, I wanted to thank you for staying in your house in Cape Town. After living there for two weeks, I'll say honestly—I didn't want to leave.

Unforgettable nature. You step outside and immediately there's the river, with many places to relax. Nobody disturbs anyone. A huge number of plants and trees. The sound of birds in the mornings—I still miss it.

A bright, modern, spacious and very comfortable house. It has everything—a coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, grill, refrigerators. It was very comfortable.

I especially liked the room for sports and exercise. Excellent flooring. Modern music speakers. Yoga mats. Step platforms. Something for every taste, as they say.

And most importantly, the atmosphere in the house, which you, Nadyusha, created simply by your presence. Always smiling, kind and welcoming. Ready to help solve any question or problem. I remember you with great warmth and gratitude. I have already recommended to all my friends that they stay only with you.

Thank you for creating such a wonderful atmosphere in your beautiful home. This holiday was unforgettable for me.

Nadia, hi! I want to thank you for the time I spent in your house! The place, located in a gated neighbourhood, is truly beautiful and peaceful, and for Cape Town this is a huge advantage when it comes to the feeling of safety. I managed to stay in several rooms with different levels of comfort, and I can say that each one was worth its price—it was a fair balance between cost and conditions.

The most valuable thing here is, of course, the people. Very different people gathered here, and although I didn't manage to connect with everyone, I met people with whom we are not only still friends, but have already started actively working together. That is a strong result for a co-living space.

Your "code of rules" was an interesting experience—I had never seen anything like that before. Honestly, some of the points about weekly household responsibilities (cleaning the shared spaces) reminded me of a pioneer camp, and that's not really close to me. However, the rules that are aimed at creating a sense of community really do work. Our trips to music events by the ocean and helping to organise them were incredibly cool and unusual. It's great that you explain all of this before people move in: for someone who isn't into music and dancing, it could feel like a burden, but for me it became part of a wonderful experience. Thank you for this vibe, and good luck with developing the project!

My honest review:

I spent 1.5 months in this house (in different rooms), and I didn't want to leave because living in a co-living in an unfamiliar country is a wonderful idea. It gave me amazing new acquaintances and the opportunity to travel together in safety.

In my opinion, Nadia is a very creative person, and she has an interesting view of the world, a philosophy that is close to mine in many ways. Since I know how to find common ground and get along with all kinds of people, I personally felt comfortable.

Nadia took care of organising activities and suggested different trips, generously sharing her experience of living in this place. Whenever I had free time, I joined.

At the time when I lived there, there were no house rules, and participation in activities was not mandatory. Therefore, I felt free, and I happily returned to this house with a group to hold a retreat there.
