FOR RETREAT HOLDERS
our invitation to co-host your retreat
Bring your community to one of the world's most extraordinary destinations while we take care of the local experience.

We collaborate with retreat leaders, facilitators, therapists, coaches, movement teachers, and community builders who wish to offer their groups an intimate, meaningful retreat in Cape Town.

You bring your participants. We provide the venue, local knowledge, logistics, and a tailor-made travel experience.

Our Eco Villa accommodates between 4 and 11 guests in five comfortable bedrooms. Every retreat is designed exclusively for your group and can include optional morning embodiment and movement practices, journeys with a professional Russian/English speaking tour guide around the Cape Peninsula, and carefully selected cultural and nature experiences.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
in English and Russian language
  • Boutique accommodation for 4–11 guests

  • Complete retreat logistics and local coordination

  • Transport: 7-seater Nissan Xtrail

  • English- and Russian-speaking local guidance

  • Optional embodiment and conscious movement sessions

  • Custom-designed excursions showcasing the natural and cultural richness of Cape Peninsula, Winelands and Garden Route

Our space is especially suited to retreats centred on psychology, mindfulness, embodiment, ecstatic dance, Tai Chi, conscious movement, nature connection, rewilding, Indigenous wisdom, creativity, and authentic communication.

We especially welcome facilitators and participants who value ecological responsibility, respectful travel, minimalism, and a genuine relationship with nature. Sustainability is not an activity we add to a retreat - it is the way we host and the way of life we expect from our guests.

The philosophy behind our work is inspired by Greenhouse, our South African non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring ecological consciousness.

If this resonates with your work, we would be delighted to create a unique Cape Town retreat together.

Greenhouse is more than accommodation. It is a conscious co-living community and creative retreat space for people who value nature, movement, meaningful connection, personal growth, ecological responsibility, and community living.

Life here often includes shared meals, conscious dance, creative projects, outdoor adventures, and conversations that matter.
Probably not.

Greenhouse is best suited to people who enjoy community living, appreciate diversity, respect shared spaces, and are interested in personal growth, creativity, movement, nature, and ecological living. It takes some effort to be eco-conscious.

Those seeking a conventional hotel experience, complete privacy, or travel consumerism may find another type of accommodation more suitable.
Greenhouse is guided by ecological values and respect for all forms of life.

Residents are expected to:
  • Sort and separate their own waste according to the house recycling system.
  • Participate in keeping shared spaces clean and welcoming.
  • Use water, electricity, and resources mindfully.
  • Minimize single-use plastics whenever possible.
  • Respect the gardens, wildlife, and natural environment.
We also maintain an animal welfare policy. Guests may only bring or store meat, eggs, and other animal products that come from free-range or ethically raised sources. Products originating from intensive factory farming systems are not permitted within the house.

Our goal is conscious living and a sincere effort to reduce harm to people, animals, and the Earth.
Yes. Greenhouse thrives through participation and shared experiences.

Conscious Dance, Ecstatic Dance, Contact Improvisation, and other forms of embodied movement are especially valued within the community. Participation is encouraged, and many residents find these practices to be one of the most enriching aspects of life at Greenhouse.
